The insure4less annual multi-trip travel insurance covers trips within Australia if they include at least one overnight stay and a minimum distance of 250 kms from your place of residence. Annual travel insurance policies limit the number of days you can spend abroad on any one trip. Our maximum is 93 days. Our Excel Plus plan allows your partner or any children to travel independently of the main policyholder.

You are covered, subject to the policy terms and conditions, to travel anywhere that the Australian government does not have a specific ‘do not travel’ advice. So, for example, if you were a victim of a terrorist act you would be covered for medical expenses etc.

If the government advice was to change to ‘do not travel’ from a lesser advice such as ‘high degree of caution’ or ‘reconsider your need to travel’ then subject to the policy terms and conditions, the insure4less policy would give you the option to cancel before travel if the advice did change.
